Current volunteer opportunities include:

Programs and Tours

Lead programs for all ages focusing on local history and art. Guide visitors on tours around the museum grounds.

Collection Work

Catalogue objects and archives. Research local history, objects in our collection, and historic buildings in the area.

Exhibit Creation

Research our collections to design new permanent or temporary museum exhibits, in our five historical buildings.

General Maintenance

Painting and gardening on the grounds, as well as maintaining buildings and constructing new storage shelves.

Social Media

Help us grow our social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Twitter.

Employment Opportunities

The Museum accepts applications for summer student positions in late April and Early May. Positions are only open to students who meet the criteria of the Canada Summer Jobs program, and must be returning to secondary or post-secondary education in the Fall.
